Things to do in Exeter
Exeter is a city and a district in the southwest of England. It falls under the county of Devon. The River Exe flows through the city and the Romans used to live here. During the Middle Ages, the Vikings conquered the city but were driven out by King Alfred the Great. The most difficult part of the city was during the Second World War. The Luftwaffe has bombed the city no less than 18 times. Most of the houses and buildings have been destroyed, but the cathedral of the city has been sparsely spared.
